Terms of Service
Last updated: October 25, 2026
These terms govern the use of The Program Manager at theprogrammanager.com, operated by Max Benz, Am hohen Stein 36a, 01189 Dresden, Germany. By creating an account or a workspace you agree to them.
1. Who may use the service
The service is offered to businesses only (Section 14 of the German Civil Code). By signing up you confirm that you act for a business, and that you are authorized to bind it. The service is not offered to consumers.
2. The service
The Program Manager is a web application for program management. It reads data from the tools you connect, such as Jira Cloud and Asana, shows dependencies, milestones, blockers and decisions, and offers an MCP server for AI clients. Changes proposed by AI clients are only carried out after a person in your workspace approves them. The current features are described on the Features page.
3. Accounts and workspaces
You need an account with an email address and a password, and you must keep your credentials and MCP tokens confidential. The owner of a workspace is responsible for what happens in it, including the members and tokens it contains. You must give correct information when you sign up.
4. Subscription, prices and payment
A workspace needs a paid subscription. The plans and prices are shown on the Pricing page. Prices are in US dollars per workspace per month and exclude taxes, which are calculated at checkout. A payment card is required. The subscription is billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renews every month until you cancel.
A promotion code, if you have one, is entered only on the Stripe Checkout page. Its terms are shown on the Pricing page.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time in the billing portal, which you open from Settings. The subscription then ends at the end of the billing period you have paid for, and you keep access until then. Fees already paid for a period are not refunded, except where the law requires it. We may end a subscription for a serious breach of these terms.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not try to access data of other workspaces or to disturb the service.
- Do not use the service to process data that you have no right to process.
- Connect only tools and accounts that you are allowed to connect, and follow the terms of Atlassian, Asana, Slack and your AI provider.
- Do not share MCP tokens with people who should not have access to the workspace.
7. Your data
You keep all rights to the data in your workspace. We process it only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. A data processing agreement is available on request at team@theprogrammanager.com. You can delete your workspace, and we then delete its data subject to statutory retention duties.
8. Availability and changes
We aim for reliable operation but do not promise uninterrupted availability. The service depends on third-party providers such as Supabase, Netlify and Stripe, and on the APIs of the tools you connect. We may improve or change features. If we make a change that materially reduces the service you pay for, you may cancel with effect from the next period.
9. Liability
We are liable without limit for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and under mandatory law. For slight negligence we are liable only for the breach of an essential contractual duty, and then limited to the damage that is typical and foreseeable for this kind of contract. Milestone previews and other outputs are calculated from the data in your connected tools, and you remain responsible for decisions you make based on them.
10. Governing law
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For businesses, the place of jurisdiction is Dresden, Germany.
